For gorgeous looking lips, start by removing all colour from you your lips. To prevent smudging, foundation can be applied to the lips. Then, using a neutral coloured lip pencil, draw an outline around your lips. Next, work the lipstick onto your lips, gradually working towards the outline. Shaping your eyebrows can make your eyes appear larger, as well as opening up your face. Most people’s eyebrows will have a good shape naturally, and will only need a of shaping to give them definition. As you get older, your eyebrows will naturally become thicker. Keeping them trimmed will help to keep you looking young.
To shape your eyebrows, start by combing them into their natural shape. Then, using good quality tweezers pull out single hairs at a time. Make sure you grip the hair firmly, and pull it in the direction that it grows in. Pluck from underneath the eyebrow, working outwards from your nose. Check that your eyebrows are symmetrical with a good make up mirror

Eyeliner makes your eye lashes look thicker, as well as defining the shape of your eyes. Eye liner makes eyes appear smaller than they are, so it is best to apply eyeliner to big eyes. There are various types of eyeliner, but the most common types are eye liner pencils and liquid eyeliner.
Eyeliner should be applied after you have applied all other eye makeup. Before applying your eye liner, you should make sure you have good lighting (preferably natural light) and a good makeup mirror, so that you can see clearly what you are doing with the eyeliner. The colour eyeliner you use should match the color of the mascara you are using.
Depending on whether you want a thin line or a thick line, you may need to sharpen or blunt the eyeliner pencil. If you are using liquid eyeliner it will depend on the brush as to how thin or thick you can make the line.

* To prevent smudging, wipe off any excess mascara from the wand before use.
* Don’t match your mascara colour with your eye colour.
* For full lashes that don’t stick together, use an eye lash comb, or a damp toothbrush to comb through your eye lashes.
* To make mascara stay on your lashes for longer, brush some foundation powder over your lashes before applying mascara to them.

Mascara is great for emphasising your eye lashes. As well as adding colour to your lashes it can thicken and lengthen them too.
Firstly you need to choose what colour and what type of mascara to apply. Black mascara is the most commonly used. It looks great for all hair types, although it can look a little intense on blondes during day time. It can look spectacular on blondes at night though. Deep burgandy shades go well with red hair, and shades of brown work well on some shades of blonde hair.
When applying mascara, make sure you don’t have an excess on your mascara wand. Start by applying mascara to your upper lashes. This is done by using full strokes from their base to their tips. Wiggle the wand to get mascara onto the roots of the lashes, then stroke it forward and roll it at the tip to curl them upwards for a fantastic look. For your lower lashes take care not to smudge under the eye. You will need less mascara to coat your lower eye lashes. Apply mascara to the lower lashes by applying from side to side rather than up and down.
Now admire you beautiful eye lashes in the mirror!
