Heyland & Whittle make handmade soaps using only natural colourings, a huge range of pure vegetable and essential oils. They have a huge range soaps with a variety of scents and lovely packaging making them perfect for a Mother’s Day gift.

I’ve tried the Olive Grove soap which is the image shown and it comes packaged in a lovely little hat box which does look very posh. It has a almost spicy fragrance which I can’t quite place my finger on however it is a lovely scent that can still smell on your skin after using the soap.

Liz Earle Naturally Active Skincare is made from active botanical ingredients and is designed to suit all skin types including sensitive skin. The products are designed to allow you fuss free and affordable daily pampering.

The essentials range contains the three products you need for your daily rontine of cleansing, toning and moisturising. ‘Cleanse and polish’ is a creamy cleanser used with a hot muslin cloth to polish the skin. It lifts away all traces of makeup whilst the cloth gently exfoliates to leave the skin looking clear and soft.

The Instant Boost Skin Tonic is the second step and is a floral scented toner containing rose, geranium, cucumber and vitamin E. The toner refreshes your skin and leaves it feeling tighter and brighter! The final step is of course to moisturise for which I’ve been trying the superskin moisturiser. Its fragrance free so suitable for even sensitive skin and is easily abosrbed into the skin leaving it soft and replenished.

Botanicals Organic Skincare

Botanicals skincare range is made with 100% natural and organic ingredients with none of the chemicals or additives that are found in so many other skincare ranges. Their new facial range comes in either rose and camellia for normal to dry skin or chamomile and manderin for oily to combination skin.

They have also created a handy range of ‘try me sets’ which allow you to try each of the different products before choosing whether to buy the full size version. I’ve been using the rose and camellia ‘try me set’ which contains a deep cleansing melt, skin polish, clarifying mist and facial serum.

The cleansing melt and skin polish are both oil based cleansers which melt easily into the skin to remove all impurities. I thought that being oil based they may leave a residue on my skin however with a bit of warm water they came away easily leaving my skin looking lovely and soft. The hydrating mist is used on a bit of cotton wool as a toner after using the cleanser to tighten up the skin and make it feel refreshed. Finally the rountine is finished off with a bit of the facial serum which is like an oil moisturiser. The products did leave my skin feeling very soft and refreshed with a hint of rose fragrance. Unfortunately for me the facial serum was a little to oily for my skin type however the rest of the products worked perfectly.

Nads Natural Warm Wax

Nads hair removal is a natural way to remove that troublesome unwanted hair and give you silky smooth skin. They have a range of products from wax strips, hair removal creams, hair removal gels and in growing hair solutions.

Nads natural warm wax kit contains all you need to give you hair free legs for up to 8 weeks. The wax is fragranced with orange blossom and red grape extract to give a sweet, fruity fragrance.

I usually shave my legs as its quick, easy and doesn’t require you to grow any stubble however for a special occasion such as a holiday waxing definitely has the edge as it can leave you stubble free for a whole trip.

Nads warm wax is very easy to use and wasn’t too painful! Though I did find it harder to do the backs of my legs especially closer to my knees. The results were definitely worth it as I found I had hair free legs for about 4 weeks after using the kit.

Jergens Naturals Body Moisturisers

Jergens Naturals body moisturisers are an American brand containing at least 95% natural ingredients which has recently been brought to the UK. They claim to give soft, smooth and beautiful skin so of course I had to try them!

I’ve got a couple of body moisturisers from the range; the cocoa butter formula and total nourishing cream. My favourite is the cocoa butter moisturiser which also contains vitamin E to hydrate even the driest of skin. The cream is very quickly absorbed leaving no stickiness and it has a lovely sweet fragrance reminiscent of chocolate!

The total nourishing cream contains acai berry which is meant to feed and nourish the skin. It has a very fruity fragrance which is refreshing and again the cream is very easily absorbed leaving your skin feeling very soft and smooth. I do like this moisturiser as well but you can’t beat a bit of cocoa butter to leave you smelling of chocolate!
