When I pregnant my skin really seems to suffer so I find I need to make time once a week to give it a little extra pampering to help prevent any blemishes. I tend to use a face mask to however before applying the face mask I like to use an exfoliator to get rid of any dull, dead skin and to help unblock any pores.

At the minute I’m using St Ives apricot scrub which is a very grainy exfoliator though it does make my skin feel squeaky clean! I probably wouldn’t recommend this if you have sensitive, dry skin however for my blemish prone skin it’s perfect. I also quite like using it if I’ve had an evening out and am wearing heavy make-up as it really helps to remove all those last traces of foundation. The scrub is usually available for around the £3.99 mark which is good value especially compared to what I usually spend on skincare!
