Liz EarleLiz Earle Naturally Active Skincare is made from active botanical ingredients and is designed to suit all skin types including sensitive skin. The products are designed to allow you fuss free and affordable daily pampering.

The essentials range contains the three products you need for your daily rontine of cleansing, toning and moisturising. ‘Cleanse and polish’ is a creamy cleanser used with a hot muslin cloth to polish the skin. It lifts away all traces of makeup whilst the cloth gently exfoliates to leave the skin looking clear and soft.

The Instant Boost Skin Tonic is the second step and is a floral scented toner containing rose, geranium, cucumber and vitamin E. The toner refreshes your skin and leaves it feeling tighter and brighter! The final step is of course to moisturise for which I’ve been trying the superskin moisturiser. Its fragrance free so suitable for even sensitive skin and is easily abosrbed into the skin leaving it soft and replenished.

Nads Natural Warm Wax

Warm-WaxNads hair removal is a natural way to remove that troublesome unwanted hair and give you silky smooth skin. They have a range of products from wax strips, hair removal creams, hair removal gels and in growing hair solutions.

Nads natural warm wax kit contains all you need to give you hair free legs for up to 8 weeks. The wax is fragranced with orange blossom and red grape extract to give a sweet, fruity fragrance.

I usually shave my legs as its quick, easy and doesn’t require you to grow any stubble however for a special occasion such as a holiday waxing definitely has the edge as it can leave you stubble free for a whole trip.

Nads warm wax is very easy to use and wasn’t too painful! Though I did find it harder to do the backs of my legs especially closer to my knees. The results were definitely worth it as I found I had hair free legs for about 4 weeks after using the kit.

Jergens Naturals Body Moisturisers

jergensJergens Naturals body moisturisers are an American brand containing at least 95% natural ingredients which has recently been brought to the UK. They claim to give soft, smooth and beautiful skin so of course I had to try them!

I’ve got a couple of body moisturisers from the range; the cocoa butter formula and total nourishing cream. My favourite is the cocoa butter moisturiser which also contains vitamin E to hydrate even the driest of skin. The cream is very quickly absorbed leaving no stickiness and it has a lovely sweet fragrance reminiscent of chocolate!

The total nourishing cream contains acai berry which is meant to feed and nourish the skin. It has a very fruity fragrance which is refreshing and again the cream is very easily absorbed leaving your skin feeling very soft and smooth. I do like this moisturiser as well but you can’t beat a bit of cocoa butter to leave you smelling of chocolate!

Palmers Body Butter

palmers body butterPalmers body butters are luxuriously thick and nourishing creams available in four different formulas; cocoa, olive, shea and coconut. The packaging reminds me a lot of the Body Shop body butters and the scents are very similar to their range as well.

The cream is quite a thick cream but is absorbed easily into the skin without leaving any sticky residue. The cocoa body butter smells like chocolate and left my skin feeling lovely and soft. I also love the coconut body butter which left my skin smelling lovely all day.

The other Palmers product which I love is the dark chocolate and peppermint lip butter which reminds me of after eights and is very nourishing for the lips. Its like vaseline in an easy to apply tube (rather than getting your fingers all messy using a tin) with a scent that is good enough to eat! Palmers also claim the peppermint oil in the lip butter naturally freshens your breath – I’m not sure how true that bit is but I would still recommend it!

IT Girl Butter by Margarita Bloom

The IT girlThe IT Girl Pink Champagne Buttercreme is similar to the ‘Soap and Glory’ range in packaging, the tub is a touch retro in design, complete with a Bond-esque lady!   The creme is very thick and dense, but amazingly it sinks into the skin quickly without much effort of rubbing in.

Smelling it straight from the pot, it can be a bit overpowering- very sweet,  almost like strawberries and cream, but once rubbed into the skin the smell lessens some what.

I probably wouldn’t want to use it as an all over body moisturiser as the smell could be a bit too much.  Despite the slight negative about the smell, the crème leaves skin feeling silky and velvety, and with the added benefit of almond oil to soften and aloe vera to soothe, it helps keep skin supple.  This would perhaps be better for younger tastes- great for teenagers, but maybe too overpowering for some.
