Mint Cosmetics Teeth Whitening Kit

I seem to have teeth which get stained so easily no matter how carefully I clean them. I don’t even think I drink much coffee, tea or red wine which are the usual culprits for stains. A few years ago for my wedding I had my teeth whitened by my dentist to give me a lovely pearly smile for my wedding pictures however I think the effect has now well and truly worn off! (or my teeth have just become stained again which is the more likely option).

I was recently given the chance to try a teeth whitening kit for Mint Cosmetics which my teeth are in definite need of! I’ve only just received the kit so I just wanted to do a quick post about what the kit contains as they are currently half price online. I’ll follow this up in a few weeks with some before and after pictures to let you know how the kit works for me.

The kit comes in lovely black box and inside you receive 3 mouth trays in a holder along with 4 syringes of 6% hydrogen peroxide. The syringes contain approximately 48 applications which is hopefully enough to achieve the desired finish. The Mint Cosmetic website has a lot of information on how to use the kit but once I’ve given this a proper try I’ll include my thoughts on application.

The kit actually reminds me a lot of the kit I got from my dentist to whiten my teeth, the only difference being the dentist takes moulds of your teeth and has the mouth trays made. I think I paid about £350 to get my teeth whitened by my dentist where as this kit is usually £124.99 (which includes teeth whitening pen) however at the minute it can be purchased for £69.9 direct from Mint Cosmetics.

I’m going to have a go at mould the mouth trays tonight so That I can start the teeth whitening process.  I shall make sure I take plenty of before and after pictures and will post again in a few weeks to let you know how I get on.
