Favourite perfumes
I’m such a girly girl when it comes to perfumes as I love anything sweet and vanilla-ry. I do have a bit of an aversion to anything too floral though so I tend to prefer perfumes with a bit of a musky undertone though of course I’m a sucker for anything with pretty packaging!
1. Princess by Vera Wang: Love this packaging and the purple colour looks so pretty on my dressing table. This has a vanilla fragrance with a musky edge which keeps it from being too sweet.
2. Ghost by Ghost: This is my favourite every day perfume and I always have to get a new bottle when I run out. This is quite a light feminine fragrance with a definite sweet side.
3. Secret Wish by Anna Sui: This was my little Boot’s points treat as I fancied trying something new. This is another sweet fragrance but it has a more fresh, fruity edge compared to so of my other perfumes.
4. Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel: When I got married I picked a new perfume for my wedding day as I wanted to feel a little more glam and this fragrance describes that perfectly. It’s girly but with a grown up, sophisticated edge.
5. Deep Night by Ghost: After starting to use the original Ghost fragrance I stumbled across this one when searching for a richer perfume to wear in the evening.
Looking at the picture of my collection I think it’s quite obvious they are all very girly fragrances just with the pink/purple and fairy type bottles. My Boots points are starting to add up again so I think it’s time I treated myself to another new fragrance!

I don’t usually buy any of the fragrances from the Delicious range by DKNY as I find they are too fruity and fresh for my tastes. I do think they are nice fragrances there just not particularly ones that I can imagine wearing all day as my tastes are more sweet and floral as some of my previous posts about fragrances probably suggest!
Captivating by Ghost is the new fragrance launched for 2010. As you will have noticed from my previous posts I’m a big fan of the fragrances from Ghost and I always have a bottle of the original scent on my dressing table so of course I can’t resist trying the new fragrances they bring out each year.
I haven’t had much of an opportunity to write many posts over the Christmas period with a little baby and the usual festive celebrations! So now its January and we have a lot of cold, dark days I’ve been searching for some new products to brighten up the month.
