purityanti-aging-mask-and-serum1Purity Organic Skincare is a new range of skin care products available from most large Superdrug stores. The range is endorsed by an  independant international organic certification body which means that a minimum of 95% of the plant ingredients included must be certified as natural and a minimum of 10% of the plant ingredients must be certified as organic in theory meaning a very natural and organic product.

I’ve been trying the facial exfoliator and anti-aging serum mask. The facial exfoliator is a deep pore cleanser with a very grainy texture which is down to the ground coconut shell. You can feel it working when applying it to your skin, and it does leave your face looking brighter. Its probably best for those with slightly oily skin rather than people who suffer from very dry skin. The product is fragrance free so has a very neutral smell meaning  that even people with sensitive skin should be able to use it. The aloe vera and coconut oil mean it’s still moisturising and doesn’t leave your skin feeling dried out.

I’ve also got the Purity anti-aging serum and mask which I have been using mainly as a face mask after using the exfoliator. You have to apply a thick layer of the product which is quite like a gel type moisturiser and leave for 10 minutes before rinsing off. This also has a very neutral smell with a tiny hint of rose water. It contains vitamin E which is supposed to help mositurise your skin.   I’ve found that when I’ve used it with the exfoliator it leaves your skin feeling very soft and nourished. As the texture is a bit like a gel it doesn’t feel heavy on your skin and doesn’t clog your pores. The only down side is the lack of a fragrance however if you suffer from very sensitive skin this is probably exactly what you need.
