I always love a bargain so can’t help myself when Boots start giving out those £5 off vouchers for makeup. Every time I end up buying some more nail polish from their No 7 range. I think by now I must nearly own their entire range of colours which is perfect for this lovely sunny flip flop weather.

I’ve tried the Stay Perfect and Speed Dry ranges both of which I love. I find the No 7 nail polish very easy to apply, it coats the nail well without leaving any streaky marks which you get with some of the pearlised nail polishes from other ranges. Both ranges are dry to touch very quickly allowing you to get on with other things and best of all the colour lasts well on your nails without chipping.

Boots claim the nail polish lasts for about 5 days which I find to be a good estimate even when washing your hair or cleaning the house. I always apply a top coat to give a bit of extra shine which probably helps it last that bit longer. The colours I love are salsa (which is hot red colour with a slight shimmer perfect for toe nails for the summer), and coconut ice which is a pearly white colour – that looks very elegant on finger nails!
