I’ve been quite good recently and haven’t splurged too much on cosmetics as we are now saving for baby number 2. However the new Naked 2 eyeshadow palette from UD has me sorely tempted! I wasn’t too convinced initially as even though I love the original palette I couldn’t see how I would need a second palette from the same brand containing more neutral shades.

After reading a few reviews I’ve started to realise that there are certain shades I don’t use in the original palette as I find them too warm for my skin tone. From the reviews I’ve read of the new palette, and there are plenty, it seems more suited to cool skin tones such as mine.

These pictures from Lipglossiping are stunning and I’m really struggling to resist the temptation! The shades do appear to have a cooler edge and I can’t help but feel I would get more use out of this palette (can you tell I’m talking myself into it!). The only draw back for me is that the price of the palettes from UD do seem to slowly creeping up with the Naked 2 palette priced at £36 whereas I’m sure the previous Naked palette was only £28.

Though even at the new price you can’t deny it’s good value for 12 eye shadows and a lip gloss. I think I might save this as a little treat for later in my pregnancy however I’m pretty sure this is a buy I won’t regret!
