King of Shaves have just launced the new Azure razor and a range of moisturising shaving gels. Peviously all of the range had been aimed at men so now women get to try the products as well!  The new razor is shaped slightly differently to the traditional Gillette razors which is designed to allow you to smoothly shavedifficult areas such as knees and ankles. It has four blades surrounded by a soft rubber bumper which is meant to help lift the hairs and protect against nicks or cuts.

I tried the razor for the first time this week and initially I found the straight shape of the razor slightly hard to use when trying to shave under the arms, probably as its not what I was used too!  You always feel slightly cautious that you might cut yourself with a new razor. However once I got the hang of using the razor it actually made for a very easy shave especially on the legs. The straight style of the handle gives you exactly the right angle for shaving your legs and its smooth to use over the knees or ankles. I also have the pamper and moisturise shaving gel which is a lovely, silky smooth gel and helps you to shave effortlessly.

Overall the Azure razor leaves your legs feeling just as smooth as the other razor’s on the market and is just as easy to use. It also has the advantage of being cheaper than leading brands such as Gillette (the razor+3 blades costs £4.99 and 4 replacement blades cost £4.99). The Azure razor is currently only available on-line or in Sainsbury’s however I’m sure in no time it will be available in other shops.
