Pond’s Winter Wonders
I’ve been learning the art of bouncing the baby in his bouncy chair with one foot whilst trying to balance the laptop and type in order to write this post! It seems to working well as he has nodded off but now I have to keep going with the bouncing to keep him asleep, at least I’m giving my leg a work out!!
With winter upon us Pond’s skincare is promoting their range of face creams to help us guard against frosty days, icy winds and the drying effects of central heating. I’ve been trying a couple of their creams for my post; the hydro-nourishing cream and dry skin cream.
The hydro-nourishing cream is quite a light feeling moisturiser which is designed for dry or normal skin types. I’ve been using it on my combination skin and it feels light enough for my skin though I do apply it sparingly around the T-zone. It contains evening primrose oil to nourish your skin and I do think it does leave my skin feeling very soft. The cream works well on my cheeks which can get dry in the wintery weather and even on the oilier areas its still easily absorbed.
The dry skin cream is a little rich for my particular skin type as it is a thicker moisturiser most suitable for skin types that are prone to dryness. I have been using just a little of it on any dry patches I get, such as around the eyes, and the cream does work well as an intense moisturiser to clear up the small dry patches.
